Why we do this

Louisiana carries the dubious honor of finishing last in category after category in this nation. Health. Education. Income. Incarceration. We are not interested in praying politely around that. We are interested in praying straight into it, on a schedule, until something moves.

The premise

His will is already in motion

We do not believe prayer talks God into caring about Louisiana. We believe His designated, purposeful will is already moving for the souls who live here — and that intercession is how we come into line with it and hold ground while it lands.

The method

Census data as a prayer list

Every parish has a number attached to it. We use the regional and parish census counts to make sure the praying is complete — that we have covered the population actually represented on that ground, not just the parts of it we happen to know.

The discipline

Fixed watches, not moods

Three days a week for Morning Glory, three for Invitation, and regional prayer twice a week on top. The operation runs whether it feels anointed that morning or not. That is the point.

The scope

The state, then the world

Louisiana is the assignment. But when the world shakes, World View turns the same discipline outward — the day’s headlines walked through and prayed over rather than just consumed.

The count

What we are praying over
